Nothing too exciting to report. I am still sitting here at negative 22 pounds. I go into panic mode sometime and wonder why the weight isn't just peeling off. Then I remember it has only been 13 days since surgery. I really do not think I am eating enough either. I do get hungry but nothing sounds appleaing at this stage in the diet.
My eating this week is really weird. Not quite off the clear liquids yet, not doing so well on the creamy full liquids but I can eat the cheap, Walmart brand, instant grits with no problem. Instant mashed potatoes too. Just a few small bites. Grits are yummy and my fav. Potatoes are boring!!
I do fine with Greek Yogurt too. Today (as I type) I am eating Fage Greek Yogurt (1 cup) with blueberry preserves. Delish!!
I just finished my first big exercise walk. One hour around my neighborhood. It was 8:30am, beautiful, and 100% PLUS humidity. Had Michael Jackson and Zac Brown to keep me company. I have the shakes now but may be because it was my first big, long, fast walk. Not much in the walnut either. I don't think all my walking around the mall and stores counted for much. I felt HORRIBLE post walk. Like SICK!! Time to get that stamina back up or eat more....not sure??
