Creamy is not so Dreamy

Day 8:  Still at the 20 pound mark but I am fine with that.  I think that is a little ahead of where I should be right now anyway.

Sadly, as much as I was so so ready to start my "creamy liquids" today, it isn't going as well. I am sitting here eating lime jello for dinner right now.   My dinner was a few bites of Cream of Chicken soup (mixed with water/not milk).  Within minutes I felt so sick.  Nauseated, shaky, just uuuuuggghhh.  A few bites of sugar free pudding did the same thing to me earlier.  Clearly, my walnut is not ready for the creamy liquids that are more "rich".   I didn't do well with those type foods before surgery so may just have to avoid them all together.

I did do well with the premade cream protein shake today (EAS). My other food and drinks that have made my little walnut (new stomach) happy are:  Isopure Zero Carb, Apple juice (no sugar), "zero" vitamin waters, sugar free jellos, sugar free popsicles, Tazo tea with splenda, and broth.  I only had the broth once.  I dont like it but it is more a wierd little thing I have with it.  Just reminds me of being sick.  Don't love it.

I think I am pushing myself too hard. I am ready to get out and just go, go, go.  When I run to the store I am exhausted when I get back.  I have to remind myself it has only been 1 week. ( I have the sweetest friend who tells me everyday to chill and just rest).  My sleep schedule is completly upside down too.  I am getting my 8 hours just not when everyone else is.  So I pulled an all niter last nite, forced myself to stay awake today and going to bed NOW!! Slow down and heal girl!!

Onward and upward.......
