
Didn't lose any weight when I weighed this morning. Didn't gain but didn't lose. I know the pre-op diet isn't about losing weight but maintaining Ketosis. I ate too much yesterday. Ate healthy just ate too much. Baby steps. The apps I put on my phone have been wonderful......Calorie Counter and TrackerSavvy. I have an Android Smartphone. Both apps are free and super user friendly. Especially doing the pre-op diet when protein and net carbs are so critical (Calorie Counter).
Two mistakes I am making are: not eating enough fruit and veggies (got a little plugged up and had bad tummy ache) and not eating enough chewable protein (chicken, turkey etc.). I think I need to chew. Psychological but feel the need to chew. I want warm comfort food too so I need to make some warm, healthy proteins to satisfy this need. I will not be chewing anything for a few weeks post-op so should chew, chew, chew while I can.
